In the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, it may be necessary for the scaffold to have certain bulk to fill volume defect. The 3D nanofibrous scaffold that has been developed are soft and may be mistaken as cotton. Only by viewing the structure under a microscope would it reveal its nanofiber building blocks.
